If you are interested in clowning with a group, here is a list of clubs in Minnesota that may be of interest to you. You can also try, checking with a 4-H office, Girl Scouts, or Boy Scouts in your area for a group. |
Legion Clowns, Bob Achterling 651-777-3875 or E-mail bettyboba@usfamily.net The group performs on the 3rd Tuesday of each month except June,July and August. The club is sponsored by the American Legion Post 39 of North St. Paul and does stage show performances of skits, jokes, magic, juggling and sing-a-longs at health care centers and hospitals in the TC area at no charge.

Chuckle Makers Clown Club, 651-429-1874 We are a "Family Club" which means children ages 10 and older are welcome with a parent. Email: ChuckleMakers@aol.com
ClownCare Club Alley 226, 763-420-5333 We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Walker Residence in Anoka. Our club trains clowns to work in nursing homes & hospitals. Our training includes: History of Clowning, Make-up training, Costuming, Caring Clowning, and Volunteer Training with the director of volunteer services from Unity Hospital.
Clowns for Christ, 651-257-3808, We meet Saturday mornings at the Zion Lutheran Church in Chicago. Kids of all ages are welcome to join. We participate in monthly Nursing Home visits, community events, parades, fund raisers and more.
